Peter Rogers has been a massage therapist in the Saranac Lake and Adirondack region for the past 15 years. Growing up just outside of the Blue Line, Peter joined the Army after high school and decided to go back to school to become a licensed massage therapist upon his return from duty. Graduating in 2006 from the New York Institute of Massage, Peter moved back to the Adirondacks to begin his massage therapy career so he could enjoy the countless outdoor activities the Adirondack Park has to offer. 

 

In February 2007, Peter became a New York State Licenced Massage Therapist and was immediately hired at the prestigious Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa, a 4 diamond resort located in Lake Placid, NY. With a reputation for excellence, Peter was later hired at the Whiteface Lodge Resort & Spa, another 4 diamond resort in Lake Placid.

 

In recent years, Peter has spent time working for Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in the Occupational Health department focusing on hospital employee job-related injuries and chronic ailments such as frozen shoulders, lower lumbar lordosis, and Upper Crossed syndrome, or forward head posture. Most recently Peter has worked at StoneWorks Massage and Skincare providing a large range of care for his clients in the Plattsburgh, NY area.

Over the years, Peter has continued his training for many acute and chronic related injuries and many different relaxation modalities such as Lomi Lomi, hot stone massage, prenatal care, Thai stretching, reflexology, and cupping therapy. He uses these methods to tailor suit a custom massage for each individual based on their individual needs. His goal is to produce a relaxing experience while also achieving any therapeutic results a client wishes to address.
